Before Rowland Pidlubny devoted himself to a professional film acting career in "Hollywood North" Vancouver B.C. Canada, his enthusiasm at an early age for music, stand up comedy and spirituality, brought him to find deep within, the passion for creativity, expression and connecting with people. Working on set as lighting rigger for ABC's "Defying Gravity" and many other productions as stage manager, set builder, and art director, all brought a passion and intense focus to Pidlubny for the craft of acting. Rowland's energy illuminates the silver screen in a vast amount of films, primarily as a leading man with the Vancouver Film School. Winning "Best Student Film Award " at the 2012 Las Vegas Cinefest for "Numbers", nominated for VFS's "Outstanding Performance Award " starring in the psychological horror "The Man", and having the exclusive distinction to perform in VFS's inaugural feature length action film as "Joey Valentino" in "Captive". Rowland's professional work has included, leading actor, producer and production designer in the gritty feature film "Stockholders", and being active with helping instruct VFS students classes. Rowland's technique allows the very essence of the character to speak through, and his ability to transform physically has allowed him to play an extensive variety of characters with remarkable range, establishing him as a major talent.
