Julia Faye West was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her parents were hard working students who divorced when she was 5 years old. She has said that her parents taught her tenacity by following their dreams despite humble beginnings. Her mom became a national motivational speaker and published author when she was 9. Her father became a medical doctor when she was 16. Julia moved often and lived alone with her mom until she was 18. She was home-schooled due to her traveling and work schedule with her mother. Together they co-authored children's, motivational books, posters, and poetry which was printed internationally. They made appearances on 24 television and 57 radio stations promoting their work. Aside from media exposure Julia performed on stage with her mom as a speaker. She received private coaching from Carol Cavan, co-director of the Milwaukee performing arts center. Julia also participated in Comedy Sportz Live and had weekly private coaching with the National Founder, Karen Kolberg, for several years. Karen also co-authored 2 books with Julia and her Mom. When Julia Faye West was 19 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She worked odd jobs to support herself while acting on television shows and feature films to become a SAG-AFTRA member. While living in Hollywood, Julia met her husband-to-be, and became pregnant. They married, and moved to Downey, Ca. During her pregnancy she co-authored another book with her mom. She did a national radio tour from home to promote the book while nursing her son. Julia is a devoted working actor. She is also certified as a success coach with The Quantum Life Institute. She's coached all walks of life including other celebrities. She receives coaching by Howard Fine, one of the most highly respected actor training centers in the world. Julia and her young son also enjoy rescuing animals, and helping children in need.
