Julian Brand was born in San Francisco, California, the son of a poet and an environmentalist. The family lived in Iowa and Cincinnati, before finally settling in Maine. After graduating from high school, Julian was offered a Presidential Arts Scholarship to George Washington University, but chose instead to attend the NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he completed the Atlantic Theater Company studio training and also studied in the Gallatin School. While at Tisch, Julian starred in over 30 independent films, including a supporting roles in "Bad Dads" with Michael Cera and the Sundance award winning "Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same" with Alex Karpovsky. Deciding to increase the scope of his life experience, Julian spent a year traveling by himself through Central and South America. Among his varied adventures, escaping a post-soccer game riot in Colombia, taking a tiny cargo boat across the open ocean, and climbing the San Pedro Volcano in Guatemala in an all time record-setting 3 hours and 27 minutes. Since his return to the US, Julian Brand is proud to call Los Angeles his home. He is dedicated to the craft of acting, and loves performing in front of the camera.
