Pom Klementieff was born in Quebec City, Québec, Canada. She is an actress, known for Oldboy (2013), Loup (2009) and Nathalie küsst (2011).

Her father was Russian and French; her mother was Korean. Her mother named her "Pom" because it sounds similar to the Korean words for "spring" and "tiger". Her family lived in Canada, Japan, and the Ivory Coast before finally settling in France. Her father died when she was five years old. Her brother committed suicide on her 25th birthday. She was raised by her paternal uncle and aunt. Her uncle died on her 18th birthday.
