One of the youngest independent film producers in history, Richard Switzer started in the industry at the age of eighteen, producing three feature films with names such as Nick Swardson, Jamie Kennedy, Jason London, and academy award nominees Eric Roberts and Sally Kirkland. Born on August 6, 1995 in Queens, New York, Switzer started making movies at the age of eight. A born entrepreneur, Richard was selling copies of his movies to his friends in elementary school. By the time he graduated high school he had made over fifty short films and written five feature length screenplays. He founded Switzer Entertainment Group in 2013 to develop, package, finance, and produce commercially viable independent feature films for the worldwide market. SEG has an output deal with Taylor & Dodge, every film produced by the company so far has received international distribution with sales in Germany, China, and the United States. The company's first film, A Fatal Obsession, is currently airing on TV in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands by NBC Universal International.
