Pennsylvania native Karen Abercrombie is an award winning actress, singer-songwriter and a Parent's Choice Award winning storyteller. She has guest starred on numerous television shows such as Vampire Diaries, Alley Mc Beal, Saved by The Bell, Judging Amy and Strong Medicine to name a few. She plays recurring character, Aberdeen, on the AMC TV show, "Turn". She will also will be playing recurring character, Gail Brenning on the new TV show, "The Summers Sisters". Karen has an extensive and impressive list of Off-Broadway credits to her name. Her most recent film work includes a starring role in the Kendrick Brothers new film, "War Room". The film will be released in theaters, this August. Karen can also be seen in Gary Wheeler's soon to be released new film, "Mountain Top." She recently released her debut jazz album, "Matters of The Heart" to very favorable reviews. Karen wrote all of the songs on the album and was featured in the magazine, The Jazz In Me, as the new jazz singer to watch.
