Karlos de la Torre was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico to Mexican parents Rafael de la Torre and Berenice Pedroza. His family, along with younger sister Karen de la Torre and Kevin de la Torre, migrated to the United States in 1995. Karlos de la Torre started his acting career at Ohlone College in Fremont California where he began taking acting classes and participating in short films. He eventually got his first television role on the show of "Cuff me if You Can" on Investigation Discovery with the extra role of a Mexican Cop. His next role was a lead role on the show of "I (Almost) Got Away with It" as Ricky Alan Sleight on the episode "Got To Ride The Rails", also on Discovery. From there he has gotten more roles as police officer, swat team, reporter and background roles on the same series by Indigo Films. He also shares a passion for music, as his father Rafael de la Torre is a singer of traditional Mexican Mariachi music.
