Jill is a director, editor, producer and writer. She began her career as a Production Assistant at the Public Theatre running lines with Morgan Freeman. An experienced playwright, her first play was produced at the Dublin Fringe Festival; most recently she's had work produced at La MaMa Theatre (NY). Jill is an accomplished writer who was has been selected as a resident at Mabou Mines Theatre Company and has participated in CBS' Writers' Development Program (Daytime). Jill spent six years managing the production company and assisting in the development of the documentary "Dancing Across Borders" directed by Anne Bass. In 2013 she was one of 20 filmmakers awarded a scholarship to Killer Film's/Stony Brook Southampton's 20/20/20 program where she wrote, directed and edited the narrative short "After Tomorrow" (Henley Film Festival.) Other documentary work includes: "Out of Print" (Tribeca Film Festival,) "Never Stand Still" (Dance on Camera,) "Bernal's Picasso" (IUCr, Japan,) and "The Hamlet of Canfield Gardens" (JW3, UK). Most recently Jill directed, produced and wrote the feature length documentary "Mr. Chibbs" an observational portrait of NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson.
