Andrea Ravera is an Italian actor living and working in India. He studied in Italy with Francesca De Sapio ("The Actors Studio" of New York) and in Argentina, after graduating in the "Escuela de Teatro de Buenos Aires" directed by Raul Serrano, he continued his training with Guillermo Angelelli and Marcelo Savignone. In Argentina, he starred in the play "El Ingenio de los Orvantes" by Yoska Lazaro and "Detras" by Marcelo Savignone. He has starred as "Berta" in "Private" directed by Tinto Brass; as "Carcarlo" in "La vida es un carnaval" directed by Samuele Sbrighi; as "Luca" in "Soledad", a short film directed by Marcelo Cepeda; and also as "Pagliaie" in the French Tv movie "Manhunt" directed by Laurent Jaoui and shot in La Paz, Bolivia. He ha s also appeared in television programs like "Hombres de honor", "Sin codigo", "Sos mi vida", "El tiempo no para", "Son de fierro", "Nini" and "Violetta" among many others. In 2008, he starred the real-documentary "Pasion Latina" directed by Juan Baldana and broadcasted throughout South America by Fox Sports. In India he appeared in the movies "Humshakals", "Doctor Rakhmabai" and "Nannaku Prematho". In April 2016 he has been "Surya" in "The Ashram" (Post-Production), a Film directed by Ben Rekhi, co-starring with Academy Award Melissa Leo, Kal Penn, Sam Keeley, Hera Hilmar and Radhika Apte. In February 2017 has also shot "Kalki" (Short Movie, Post-production) as the main hero, a retired Spanish soldier coming to India to revenge his daughter's murder.
