Michael, a college student, visits his girlfriend Gabriella and her family for Christmas in Canada. When he gets there, she tells him that she doesn't love him any more. Michael attempts to see what is happening. Meanwhile, her family is exceedingly strange: her father is an atheist writer who spends most of his time wandering the house nude.
