Dean is an actor and coach for film + television. His varied career includes 5 seasons in his critically acclaimed portrayal of Blake on Showtime's Queer As Folk, Saw 3D, Haven, the host of the CBC 6 part mini-series Triple Sensation II as well as 2 years on Broadway starring in Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical Rent. Dean is also the Founder and Executive Producer of Appulse Films. The company's first feature entitled Verona, directed by Laurie Lynd (Breakfast with Scot), is scheduled for release in 2010. Director of Armstrong Acting Studios, Dean is one of Canada's most sought after episodic and feature film pre-production and on set coaches.
