Raised entirely by his single mother and his maternal grandparents, actor, writer and producer, Laurence Anthony is one of the most accomplished and promising young talents of his generation. A published author and playwright, Laurence was discovered at age 20 by casting directors Gloria and Steven Mann. After several talent agencies expressed interest in the young man, he found a home with LeFeaver Talent in Toronto. Having studied Radio and TV Arts at Ryerson University and extensive acting with coach Lewis Baumander, Laurence has been seen in various commercials and has nabbed TV appearances. He recently completed his first principal role, playing 'Rogers' in SAW VII, directed by Kevin Greutert. A frequent traveler, Laurence spends much of his time between NY and Toronto. His author credits include, "The Lido Deck," published in the best-selling book, LAID: Young People's Experiences With Sex. He also penned the play, "How Do I Forgive My Dying Father." Known for his infectious smile and deep voice, Laurence has charmed and worked his way into becoming a memorable and promising young actor.
Laurence is also a songwriter and has penned a number of songs, including the track, "Sweat," for singer Shawna Stewart. Is a spoken word and poetry artist and has performed at numerous events and hosted a number of poetry shows in NY and Toronto.
