Jamie Ann Burke was raised in the suburbs of Orange County but is of British Guyanese (South American) decent. As an adolescent she excelled in mathematics and science on the academic side and track and field and basketball on the athletic side. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree from UCLA where she majored in Electrical Engineering. While at UCLA Burke co-directed the African Arts Ensemble and was a member of the National Society of Black Engineers. After college, Burke spent two years as a security technology consultant at Accenture LLP where she traveled all over the United States on various assignments. After her promotion in 2007, Burke decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting full time. She studied digital film making in Paris through the New York Film Academy, and attended the Actor' Boot Camp as well as Actor's Certified Training schools. Burke has appeared in the film "The Pink Conspiracy" and "The Third Summer," she also made her stage debut as Private Lewis in the sold out performances of Soldiers Don't Cry. Burke enjoys Capoeira (Brazilian martial arts), jogging and traveling to places like Paris to Trinidad. Jamie Ann Burke is actively pursuing a bright film and television career in Hollywood.
