Edwin was introduced to the world of acting when he was plopped down in front of a television set as his constant babysitter. After all he's seen, he decided to pursue priesthood. During his service as a choirboy and alter boy, he met his favorite actor Steve McQueen while shooting "The Hunter" at his parochial school in Chicago. This profound meeting ignited his interest to pursue the arts. But, he decided to pursue medicine instead. It was until studying at the university that his counselor advised him that he'd take some elective courses to complete the units required to transfer to medical school. So, he decided to take an acting class. The rest...is going according to plan.

His cousin is Sherrie Krantz, creator of Vivian Livingston of "VivianLives.Com."He was known as the "Walking Prop" on the set of Soap Girl (2002) because he wore a cast and left arm sling after being severely injured from a multi-auto collision the night before. He is seen in the film playing "Frustrated Boyfriend."Once considered a career in the priesthood while attending parochial school, as he served as an alterboy and a member of the church choir.Graduated from Fairfax High School in Hollywood.He participated at the 2003 Philippine Independence Day Parade & Street Fair. He rode on the Gramercy Park Salon & Spa float down Madison Avenue in New York City.The founding members of the Filipino alternative rock band, Orphanlily, are his cousins Alroy Teves and Terence Teves.Graduated with a BA Degree in Radio/Television/Film at CSU Northridge.
