Erin Smith was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia and has an older sister. Aside from her early passion for soccer, she loved to sing and dance and was a member of Atlanta's International Children's Choir, Harmony. She performed in over 20 musicals from Kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as singing in school honor choirs. Erin's first commercial was for a TBS Great American Moments PSA at age 8 (from a taped audition sent in by her school) and her first film was Bobby Jones, Stroke of Genius for which she had her braces removed and her blond hair dyed red.
Her father grew up across the street from Peter Gallagher.Although she had played a cheerleader in several movies/commercials, Erin never was a cheerleader in real life. During High School, she had to choose between athletics and theater - and she chose theater.Nicca's stunts in Quarantine 2: Terminal were actually performed by Erin - she can touch her nose to her heels when she does a backbend.
