I am a frequent moviegoer, I probably average 1.5 in theater movies a week plus another one or two on DVD/TV. This movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The actors, some of whom I have seen perform well in other roles seemed either awkward or trying too hard. Although I actually smiled once or twice in the first 30 minutes (like when the bad guy sat on the guy sleeping on the couch!), we walked out of the movie about 45 minutes in...it still hadn't hooked us. Was this an independent film? If so, I hope that they get some better script and more money before trying another.

Totally awful. not funny, very boring.

This was a huge mistake, a waste of time and money on a senseless, poorly acted farce of a movie. Don't even bother renting it on DVD

I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would, it was funny and still managed to carry a seriuos message to the viewers

I am concerned at the bad reviews. NOT because I particularly liked this movie(which i reviewed for actors) but because I believe it was well done for what it is supposed to be AS WELL AS realistic in ending for people in this business,to discourage kids from involvement. The only reason i rate so-so instead of good was for the totally unnecessary bit of sluttiness and nudity in the one brief scene. That was really stupid on the part of scripter/director. Actors are great,especially when you know from other work how good they are playing these roles. I ENCOURAGE THOSE NOT OFFENDED BY LANGUAGE AND THE HARSH REALITY OF THE CRIMINAL/DRUG WORLD DELIVERED IN COMEDIC OVER THE TOP FASHION TO TRY IT AND FORGET ABOUT THE BAD REVIEWS. As stated,it is great for what is meant to be. On the other hand I dont promote paying hwood for gratuitous sex/nudity. So i guess you'll do what you are comfortable with.
