Storyline:
Set against the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s, the film is based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy (Hemsworth), and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Austrian driver (Bruhl). The story follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become world champion in a sport with no margin for error: if you make a mistake, you die.

Chris Hemsworth could do a remake of 'Howard The Duck' and some people would give it 5 out of 5 stars. He's an overrated actor in this overrated Movie.

A night out at the movies wasted. It was like watching a two hour race car video game. I am shocked that Ron Howard was involved with this film.

This movie is fantastic. The story is unbelievable but could be difficult to do justice with. Ron Howard masterfully avoided creating a chronological story and created an entertaining and exciting movie. I am a Formula 1 fan who knows the story very well. The person i went to watch the movie knew nothing of Formula 1 and came out of the movie very happy. Great job

I am a woman and friend of an F1 fanatic. This movie was engaging from beginning to end. Brilliant direction, great cinematography, masterful editing, accurate period ambiance (without overdoing it). Sure racing fans probably wanted to see more action on the track, but there was enough to pull any viewer into the thrill and danger of this sport. The actors were all wonderful in their roles; telling a story that might not have been quite as interesting if it had not actually happened in real life. Hats off to Ron Howard. He created another winner!

The movie was very loud and all the accents were an effort to understand. The story was nothing special. The best part of the movie as far as I'm concerned was the lead actor's good looks and blue eyes. Without that I would have said Oh No! He is very handsome and believable in the role. The dialog was very poor and the script was mediocre at best. Even the racing scenes were nothing special. I would recommend this movie to racing fans only. It wasn't my cup of tea. It is not for children for certain. There is a bit of unnecessary sex and nudity. I guess they stuck that in for ratings. I didn't love it. If I didn't want to go with my 26 year old son I would say skip it.
