Are you sure, you want to add Nights in Rodanthe
to your wish list?
Storyline:
Adrienne Willis, a woman with her life in chaos, retreats to the tiny coastal town of Rodanthe, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, to tend to a friend's inn for the weekend. Here she hopes to find the tranquility she so desperately needs to rethink the conflicts surrounding her -- a wayward husband who has asked to come home, and a teen-aged daughter who resents her every decision. Almost as soon as Adrienne gets to Rodanthe, a major storm is forecast and a guest named Dr. Paul Flanner arrive. The only guest at the inn, Flanner is not on a weekend escape but rather is there to face his own crisis of conscience. Now, with the storm closing in, the two turn to each other for comfort and, in one magical weekend, set in motion a life-changing romance that will resonate throughout the rest of their lives.

Now this movie hasn't come out yet, but as a person who has been traveling to Rodanthe and home again my whole life, I will most definitely be seeing this movie to see familiar sites. Such as the cottage they filmed it in that I pass every trip down. I have read the back-story and hope this movie is full of great elements as well as paying it's respects to the Outer Banks...so for me, Must Go!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE AWAY THE ENDING IN THEIR REVIEWS!!!???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IF YOU WERE TELLING A FRIEND ABOUT A MOVIE WOULD YOU TELL THEM THE ENDING IF THEY HAD NOT SEEN THE MOVIE YET? THAT IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS! I LIKE TO FIND OUT THE ENDING WHEN I AM WATCHING THE MOVIE THANKS! SHEESH!

Movie was unrealistic, the house would have collasped, the people would have died and disappeared, apparently the people in Hollywood don't watch the weather channel. I could not get into the movie and root for two characters who were still married but not to each other and what a burden the mother put on the daughter, the movie did not make me weepy or sad for the couple just angry that I spent so much money for a junky movie!

It was all I could do not to sob out loud! I mean seriously sob!
Every emotion these characters went thru, I went thru. The storm scene made me feel like I was in the house with them. Can't say too much more...I don't want to give away too much!
Very enjoyable movie with great actors and even some nice scenery!
Sit back and just be entertained!
PS. Bring the tissue!

Good girl flick...emotional as are all Nicholas Sparks' books.
